Osimertinib is a treatment for NSCLC. It specifically targets the EGFR T790M mutation. There are two doses of Osimertinib – 40 mg and 80 mg, both in film-coated tablet form.
You’re supposed to take 80 mg once a day. You can do it with or without eating. Each bottle holds 30 tablets.
It’s made for people with EGFR mutations. It’s proven to help with NSCLC when this mutation is present. The schedule is easy – you just need to take it once a day to keep it working right.
Taking the med on the regular is super important for it to work well. You might get some side effects like a rash, feeling queasy, the runs, and achy joints. Also, there’s no generic version, and that can make it a bit more pricey.
