It’s a drug used to treat a type of lung cancer called NSCLC that’s spread and is marked by something called an ALK fusion protein. This therapy’s all about targeting something called the ALK receptor, which often shows up in this lung cancer type. You take this drug in the form of capsules, and each one has 150 mg of ceritinib in it.
They usually prescribe a total of 450 mg a day for grown-ups, taken once per day with some food. You’d usually combine one capsule that’s 150 mg with three more of the same to hit that 450 mg mark. These capsules come in bottles that hold 70 capsules in one pack.
