Sotripentol is used to treat Dravet syndrome. It’s an anticonvulsant. It works by boosting GABAergic transmission – that’s a big deal for seizure reduction.
You can get it in two doses – 250mg and 500mg capsules. The usual dose is 50 mg per kilo of body weight, taken in smaller portions throughout the day. The medicine comes in bottles with 60 capsules in each one.
