Gefitinib is an EGFR inhibitor. It’s used to treat Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer, especially in cases with certain EGFR gene mutations, like those in exon 19 or the L858R mutation in exon 21. It works by stopping EGFR signaling.
You can get Gefitinib in tablets, and they’re 250 mg strong. The usual dose is 250 mg, taken once a day. You can take it with or without food—totally up to you.
