Eltrombopag is this medicine that helps with low platelet counts. It’s mainly used for people with ITP or HCV. The main goal of the drug is to boost your platelet numbers.
There are three doses you can take: 25 mg, 50 mg, or 75 mg. All come in the form of coated pills. The usual dose is 50 mg taken every day, on an empty stomach.
Each bottle has 30 of these tablets.
