Eltrombopag is this special medicine that helps with low platelet counts in ITP and chronic hepatitis C. It’s made to increase platelets. They offer it in three sizes: 25 mg, 50 mg, and 75 mg, all as these coated tablets.
The usual dose is 50 mg per day, taken on an empty stomach. You can get it in bottles with 30 pills in each one.
