Erdafitinib is used to stop a protein called FGFR from working. It helps treat a type of cancer called urothelial carcinoma when certain parts of it are changed, like FGFR2 or FGFR3. It keeps this FGFR protein from sending signals it shouldn’t.
You can get it in tablets that are either 3, 4, or 5 milligrams. The usual amount they suggest is 8 mg per day, but sometimes they might tell you to take 9 mg. It comes in bottles that have 56 of these tabs.
Just a heads up, you got to take this exactly how your doc tells you and not mess with the dose unless they say it’s okay.
