Gilteritinib is an inhibitor of FLT3. It’s made to help with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, especially in people who have FLT3 mutations. It’s used when the disease comes back or doesn’t respond to other treatments.
It stops FLT3 kinase from doing its thing. And that helps slow down the growth of leukemia cells. The medicine comes as little tablets, each with 40 mg in them.
You’re supposed to take 120 mg of it every day on the dot. They come in bottles with 90 of these 40 mg tablets in each.
