Quizartinib is an FLT3 inhibitor. It’s specifically used for people who’ve had relapse or don’t respond to treatment for acute myeloid leukemia, especially when they have FLT3-ITD mutations. It does this by blocking FLT3 signals.
This drug comes in two versions: 17.7 mg and 26.5 mg, both are these film-coated tabs. Adults usually start with 53 mg a day. The dose builds up, so it’s all about that gradual increase.
Each bottle has a batch of 28 tablets.
