Quizartinib is an FLT3 inhibitor. It’s used to treat AML that comes back or doesn’t respond to other treatments, especially when there’s a FLT3-ITD mutation. It works by blocking FLT3 signaling, a really important process in AML.
You can get Quizartinib in two doses, 17.7 mg and 26.5 mg, and they come as coated pills. You start with 53 mg once a day. They’ll gradually increase the dose over time.
The pills come in bottles with 28 tablets in each one.
