Gefitinib is a drug used for NSCLC. It’s mainly for people who have certain changes in their EGFR gene, like a deletion in exon 19 or the L858R mutation in exon 21. It works by stopping the EGFR signaling from happening.
It’s these 250 mg tablets that you take every day. Just one tablet, and that’s it. You can take the tablets with or without eating.
They come in bottles with 30 tablets in each one.
