Larotrectinib is a special kind of TRK inhibitor. It’s made to attack solid tumors that have NTRK gene fusions. It stops the growth of tumors by blocking TRKA, TRKB, and TRKC.
This drug is used to treat cancer that can’t be removed or has spread, and it works for both adults and kids with NTRK-fusion-positive cancer. Available in three formulations: 25 mg or 100 mg capsules, and a 20 mg/mL oral solution, the recommended adult dose is 100 mg taken twice daily. For kids, the dose is based on how big they are.
Each bottle holds 60 capsules.
