Olaparib is a PARP inhibitor. It’s made for treating cancer with BRCA mutations. This includes cancers of the ovaries, breasts, pancreases, and prostates.
It works by stopping cancer cells from fixing their DNA. You can get Olaparib in two doses. It’s either a 100 mg or a 150 mg tablet.
Doctors usually recommend taking 300 mg of the stuff twice a day. That’s three 100 mg pills or two 150 mg tabs. You can take this dose whether you’ve eaten or not.
The pills come in bottles of 60.
