Pemigatinib is a FGFR2 fusion inhibitor used to treat cholangiocarcinoma. It works by blocking FGFR signaling to fight cancer cells. You can get Pemigatinib in 4.5 mg, 9 mg, or 13.5 mg tablets.
The best dose is 13.5 mg taken just once a day. A treatment cycle is 21 days long, with 14 days of taking the medicine. The tablets come in bottles with 14 in each.
The usual treatment plan is to take it for 14 days out of every 21 days, just like your doc told you.
