Sofosbuvir is a type of drug that blocks the NS5B polymerase, which is used to treat hepatitis C. You can get it in 400 mg tablets that have a coating. You’re supposed to take 400 mg once a day, usually with other antiviral drugs.
One bottle holds 28 of these tablets. The drug stops the virus from multiplying, which helps get rid of it. Make sure you take Sofosbuvir just like your doc tells you to.
