Sorafenib is a kinase inhibitor. It has multiple targets, like VEGFR, PDGFR, and RAF kinases. It’s used for treating advanced renal cell carcinoma, unresectable liver cancer, and thyroid cancer.
You can get it as 200 mg film-coated tablets. You take 400 mg twice a day, so that’s 800 mg total. You should take the tablets on an empty stomach.
They come in bottles with 120 tablets. You’re supposed to take 400 mg with or without food, but it’s best to take it on an empty stomach to get the most out of it.
