Sunitinib is a med used to treat RCC, GIST, and NETs in the pancreas. It’s one of those multi-kinase inhibitors that hits on different RTKs, like VEGFR and PDGFR. You can get this drug in capsules that come in 12.5, 25, and 50 mg doses.
They usually tell adults to take 50 mg a day for four weeks straight, then take a two-week break. It’s a six-week cycle. One bottle has enough capsules for one full round of treatment.
