Resmetirom is this THR-β agonist that’s made to help with nonalcoholic steatohepatitis, or NASH. It’s a situation where the liver gets inflamed and might end up with cirrhosis. This stuff actually helps the liver manage its fat better, and that’s really important for dealing with NASH.
Each pill has 80 mg of Resmetirom, which is the dose they suggest you take every day. One bottle has 30 of these pills, enough for a month on the daily dose they recommend. You’re supposed to take this med once a day so you can keep it up for a while.
