Ribociclib is an oral medication used for the treatment of HR /HER2breast cancer. It’s part of a group of drugs called CDK4/6 inhibitors. They stop cells from dividing.
You can get it in 200 mg tablets that have a coating. The doc usually says to take 600 mg of it every day, and that’s three pills. You take it for 21 days out of every 28 days, then you take a week off.
Each pack has 63 pills, which is enough for two full cycles. You can take the pills with or without eating.
