Sorafenib is an inhibitor that targets kinases. It’s used to treat RCC, HCC, and thyroid cancer that doesn’t respond to radioactive iodine. This inhibitor hits several kinases like VEGFR, PDGFR, and RAF.
You’re supposed to take 400 mg twice a day, so that’s 800 mg in total, and don’t eat anything while you’re doing it. The pills are coated and each one is 200 mg. They come in bottles with 120 pills each.
Sorafenib comes in 200 mg coated pills, and you take enough to make up 800 mg a day.
