So, Tenofovir Alafenamide is this NRTI thing, which is like a superhero for fighting off those pesky viruses. It’s mostly used to help deal with long-term Hepatitis B and HIV issues. It works by basically shutting down this (enzyme) called reverse transcriptase, which the virus needs to copy itself inside our cells.
You get it in these tablets with a coating; each one has 25 mg of the stuff that actually does the job. The deal is to take one tablet a day, along with something to eat. These usually come in bottles with 30 tablets in them.
Most folks handle this med OK, but there are some health stuffs and other drugs it doesn’t play nice with.
