This is a drug called Tazemetostat, which targets a protein named EZH2. It’s typically used to treat two types of cancer – epithelioid sarcoma and follicular lymphoma. The way it works is by stopping some of the processes involved in epigenetics, which is all about how genes turn on and off.
The drug is available in 200 mg film-coated tablets and is recommended to be taken at a dose of 800 mg twice daily. Each bottle holds a bunch of these pills – 240 of them to be exact.
